Hey guys! We're taking a look at the D11 from Fiido. This little folder packs quite a bit of technology into a small, folding frame. We've got a lot to unpack here, so grab a seat, and let's go! All specs are listed below.

Fiido D11 Electric Bike Review ebike review folding long-distance bike

Good and thorough review! I was looking at this and the relatively unknown Citizen London as a secondary, but more portable alternative e-bike to my cruiser. (I did not enjoy riding the two fat 20x4 tire folders I tried). It's hard to tell on the video, but it looks like you were not getting much leg extension. (I don't think you mentioned your height, unless I missed it). At 5'11" I suspect I'd be on the cusp for a comfortable fit.

Looks good! Please post back after you have a chance to play with it. Is it $1600 with the 20% discount? It checks many of the boxes that I find appealing about the Carbo-X (minus the belt drive) but at a much lower price point. I almost purchased a Carbo-X this summer based on Mitch's reviews, but the long shipping time was the deal breaker.

The sexiest feature of the aforementioned bikes to me is the battery integrated into the seat post, which strikes me as the kind of gizmo M would demonstrate to James Bond.

While I'm not sold on the Citizen London (very limited range) it's still an appealing bike at that price point. It seems to be a bit of a "sleeper" given how little attention it has received here or anywhere else on line.

It definitely looks tidy...but eventually, the rider dismounts, and goes into a building/situation where bikes aren't allowed. How do they lock this, and why is bike security always a design afterthought on a bike >$1000? It looks like a lock would need to thread through the crank gaps? Now the rider needs to go back inside to wash their hands.

Hi, I have a question for you. Will 2.1" tires fit the D11? I plan on installing Schwalbe ebike specific tires (and swapping the 14t-28t freewheel for an 11t-32t). If you can let me know I'd greatly appreciate it.

Update : up to 3" tires fit, as long as the fenders are removed. SWEET!!!
