Endeavour

Hi everyone,
First time post, please be patient :)
I'm located in Alberta, Canada which means I'm not as fortunate as Europe or the United States to have a broad selection of Ebikes. Yes, I have options but with endless research I've decided on a couple.

I decided to purchase two for our retirement (gifts to ourselves).
I'm seriously looking at the Endeavour Advance B10. for all reasons.
They are available from Cit E Cycle in Vancouver B.C. and cost $4000.00 each. And that is the TOTAL I'm willing to spend on a bike.
Can anyone shed their opinions on this Ebike?

Thanks
Darrell from Alberta

Welcome to the Forum from a fellow Canuck. One of the biggest retailers in Canada is Amego EV in Toronto. https://www.amegoev.com/
They carry 15 brands in a range of price points. Free shipping and currenty have a sale going on until Mar 3.....10% off 2018 models

If you are willing to go to Vancouver you might find better options. Kalkhoff has pulled out of the North American market so any warranty issues might be hard to track down. Another option is an online type like Volt or RAD (that has a Canadian presence). But if you are looking to spend $4000 cad you could do better I feel.

I was checking the specs on the Endeavour Advance B10 and 2 things I would want at that price point are a 48 volt battery and a 28 mph supported pedal assist.

I think the Endeavor is a great option. It’s a solid spec and although Focus and Kalkhoff are pulling out of North America I wouldn’t worry about getting support for this bike. The parts are pretty standard including the heart of the bike, the Bosch motor system. The only real proprietary part is the frame which will continue to be supported by the parent company PON through Gazelle in Santa Cruz.

Assuming you mean 4K CAD which is approximately 3k USD. This is a really good deal for a solid bike. I think you’ll be really happy with is. Most similar bikes would be approximately 4K USD which is the normal price for this bike.

A big thank you for taking the time to help me:

Chris, (I believe I saw you in an interview with Court on you tube) because of your comment here, I purchased two Kalkoff bikes today.
My wife and I can't wait for our 10' of snow and -25 Celsius to turn to summer.

Thanks again
