Hey gang....been awhile. I have been riding my fattie beach surf 26er for a few years ( almost 2k mi) and had my first real issue ( battery issue was a battery issue) The S900 always develops a mild moisture "glaze" if I do an early morning ride, however after this recent cold snap it developed into serious moisture inside the display. My question is, once free from moisture should it simply work again? As it stands it runs intermittently then shuts down ( yes you can pedal these beasts but its work, lol). I plan to fabricate a cover to try and elevate big temp differentials in the housing and outside temp, assuming this display is still useable. Funny how things work. Im awaiting delivery of an Aventon Solaria 7 and told the wife I might still keep the fattie, having had zero issues over the past few years. I still may, even if investing in a new S900 display is required. It's been one of the best values on a price v fun ratio I can remember. $800? Wow.
