EBR forum PM's

Because this is the Off-Topic forum, I'm going to inquire about PM’s. Is it possible here at EBR to send a PM to another member that is truly a private message? Maybe I’ve missed something in the process, but off-list ‘conversations’ appear visible to everyone.

I just posted a response to your 'Conversation'. A few minutes ago I brought up the forum's 'well known members' page. Some have blocked profiles and show nothing. The personal page for those members that are not blocked show what appears to be PM chatter. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I think anyone reading this thread, who is logged-on, can ping our forum names and see our conversation.

Okay, JayVee, I logged off, cleared and rebooted my browser, and came back to EBR. Tapping your name brings up what appears to be some direct posts to you from other members. Our 'Conversation' is not visible, so you are correct that there is a difference between a PM/Conversation and a profile post.

School is out for today.

@emco5, Conversations are not visible to the general EBR Forum. You and whomever you start a conversation will be able to see it as an item in your Inbox but no one else can see those. Other posts you make on the Forum would be visible to the public. Hope that helps
