Rather unfortunate.

The misunderstanding of the technology and information gap occurring with legislators makes this an uphill climb. (No pun intended)

The good news is that 22 states have adopted the 3 Class model being advocated by People For Bikes, and BPSA, which are now under one organizational umbrella.

Ps. Thats up from 11 from about a year ago.

The article implied the feds are looking to reform its no ebike policy in Acacia? Would be nice and a breakthru if it happens. Might be wishful thinking.

Dolts, like we find on Facebook pages like FAST ELECTRIC BIKES cruising bike paths and shared paths at motorcycle speeds, will bring regulations. FFS we need to use common sense, not so common, and understand that high speeds bring a whole new set of problems.
