ebikemotion - no error messages but no assistance

Hello,
I have a Lapierre eSensium AL 300 which has worked fine for about a year (after initially needing a firmware upgrade on purchasing from new) but now there is no input from the motor on any setting. There are no error messages on the Marle MySmartBike App. I have had no accidents, I can see no damage to the wiring and I've cleaned the magnets and PAS sensor to no effect. The battery shows 66%. It is extremely difficult to get information on fixes but are there a few simple things I can try to resolve the issue at home before having to take the bike into a shop for an (expensive) diagnosis?
Thanks
Jem

Thanks for replying and for the advice. However, I guess it is the Marle ebikemotion rather than the bike frame/make that's the issue and I think it's the same system that's used on a lot of bikes in the US e.g. Orbea? I wondered if this is a generic issue that other users had come across. Basically, I'm just looking for tips on what simple things there are to check and how to do it.
