Hi I‘ve just taken the back wheel off my Ribble ALe and now the motors not working- it all looks good - all bolts back all wires connected etc and it’s turning on and setting the assist level but nothing is happening in the motor - l have a call arranged with Ribble and dread having to send the bike back ( it took 6 months for them to deliver and it’s already been back once...) l have done about 70 miles on the bike ...are there any suggestions for what l might check?

When you unplugged the hub motor was it fairly difficult? I don't own that system, but I believe the plug is the same one BH used with their Dapu. It's a little stiff to unplug and there are arrows to line up when reconnecting to assure all the pins make connection. When its correct it snaps into place. It's very tight to keep it waterproof. Those small pins are somewhat fragile. I would check both ends for any damage and make sure the plug is completely tight. Takes a little force to get it together. Be very careful of the pins.

I don't know if this will help, as I don't own that bike. Good luck.

Yeah it is very tight - I did get it back together correctly l think - the pins are fine and it’s lined up .. I checked on my partners bike and it’s looks the same ..but no luck - thanks for the reply
