This forum has become a real pain. I have not been here in a while. I cannot find my bike and what I have, I wish the techies would quite screwing with the software.
A local bike shop owner and I have a same issue with the controller.
The Bafang and Luna 750 watt controller.
The display cuts out and we can hit start again. It may continue or maybe not.
He has replaced all the cables and battery plus display. Finally the controller. That took care of the issue. No warranty by the dealer. All connections on both bikes are always fine. He has checked both bikes many times. The bikes are converted KHS 200 bikes.
He is now doing the same to mine. It has been a pain on a long trip.
We both have about a thousand miles on our bikes.

I rode one of the original design BBS02s for 9000 miles before it started making noise (a chittering sound) under load. I replaced it with a BBSHD and am now replacing the controller after a few hundred miles. It was faulty all along but I never noticed until I charged a battery to 57V and got an E07 error (over-volt) on my Eggrider. A large batch of faulty controllers went out from China apparently. Frustrating and wastes a GREAT job of heat shrinking the cables out the controller up through the frame. If your LBS would have started with the most difficult job, but most likely cause of the problem and changed the controller 1st it would have saved time. Hind-sight huh?
