Lectric XP got an E009 Controller Error at 28 miles. Lectric is sending a replacement controller unit. Has anyone experienced this? And if so, did the error appear a second time some time afterward?

It happened again for this person.

Ahhh. I was riding uphill too! Not very steep hill though. Did you go up the same hill again and experience the error again?

The Replacement Controller arrived today and was installed successfully. All is well with the Lectric bike!

Attached are some photos of the replaced controller that came with the bike in 2020-10. It was opened up and white goo was found it. Not sure if that was indicative of why the controller wasn’t working but I have asked the Lectric team about it.

It looks like you've blown a capacitor from the photos but i'm no expert. In any case glad to hear your bike is working again! :)

Lectric Bike tech support says that the white substances is an epoxy that is found in all of their controllers and that it is not indicative of the E009 controller error problem.
