You mean your bike went dead? I've gone thru flooded paths about 6" deep with my hub motor bikes. The water was over my pedals anyway, so it was throttle and feet up in the air. One time I saw fish stuck in the low sections of the path swimming alongside.
I once had my wife follow me thru about 4" on her bike, and the water splashed up to where I had the controller and her throttle faulted to full ON. Now full ON on her bike isn't too scary and the brake cutoffs took care of it. Now she won't cross water, but I did fix her controller wiring so it won't get wet.
