Display quit working, Lectric 2.0 XP?

I rode my bike for a time and had 11 miles on it. Came out to take a ride and the display lights up for 1 second then off. You have to cycle the key every time to even get the display to do that. I received troubleshooting tips from Lectric which I performed including checks of controller wiring and display connections as well as battery’s charge level with no success. They said they’ll send me a new display but don’t know if that’s the real issue. Has anyone else encountered this?

I would put money on the controller. If not, then the battery has an issue with the B.M.S. and need to replace the battery. It behaves like it has a dead battery which is almost impossible with the high quality cells Lectric uses so the battery management system (BMS) thinks it ran out of power or the controller thinks it ran out of power. The display won't fix the problem. From your user name "AZ Randy" if you are in the Phoenix area then Lectric is based there and maybe take your bike to them
