Delimiting the 20mph assist

My Giant bike app said my last 41 mile ride had an average cadence of 26 rpm. I guess I might have been going downhill the entire time.

It also said I had an elevation gain of 9,178.5 feet....which I know is a whopping lie. LOL! That decimal is off by one place. Should be between the 7 and 8, not 8 and 5.

It would be good if you people mounted your smartphones on the handlebars and looked up your current cadence. I might take a photo how the cadence display looks like on my bike. Will give it a try on an empty street.

Because I ride a great amount of time on gravel roads, I tend to prefer my phone be secured in my pocket or the panners so that it doesn't get bumped around. I also like to stop and talk to neighbors and people along the way, and I forget to pause the apps, which screws up my averages - time traveled, cadence, and speed. My Garmin GPS, however, has an automatic pause, so I trust its data over the others.

Next time I use the paved roads, I'll put my phone on the handlebar mount and see what the real time data tells me. Sadly, very little here is flat although we do have a few gentle rises. In short - if you aren't riding up a slope, you're cruising down a slope. 😁

I risked my life to take this picture with a DSLR camera while riding! :D

First of all, I forgot taking memory cards from home and had to return for them... Then, I set the gear to 3rd so I could spin the crank while riding slowly on almost empty ulica Myśliwska (Hunters' Str.) Finally I managed taking a sharp although blurry photo. It is nice to see your cadence on the ride. I dream of the Specialized TCD display that presents not only cadence but is also a power-meter. Perhaps the day will come Specialized replace my display with the newer type...

Thanks, but ... the manufacturer does not ship this item to the US. I really don't want to place anything inside the motor, either.

But thanks for the reply!
I just placed my order and is in transit via DHL from Germany. The E-bay link posted here will ship to the USA. They will do currency conversion for you at checkout. Good Luck!

Another big selling point when I purchased the 2018 Yamaha system was that interface. Love its functionality.
The 2019 on up changed to the new "Side Switch" interface. Not as beefy and looks more like the Bosch Purion interface.

Agreed... the PW-X system is very well integrated and intuitive to use. I love the color-coded LED to see the boost level at a glance.

The BH Easy Motion Yamaha computer even leaves you with a warm and friendly feeling when you part ways at the end of the day. ;)

I bought mine through eBay from an Australian supplier who gets the boxes direct from Germany. And yes, eBay did the currency conversion as part of the transaction. Made it very easy.

Should have the box in about another week or two.

Great. I also considered that supplier as well. I think mine will be here within the same time frame. The shipping company provided full tracking results. It is funny how I ordered a heavy Brute lock from the UK to the USA and shipping costs were half of what I am paying for a small box.

Sure thing. You cannot argue that this design is one of the best I have seen next to the Intuvia. Not sure if they have continued using it on other bikes in 2019 moving forward. Many of the Haibikes eMTBs do not have it now. Perhaps another cost savings measure implemented by corporate.

Interesting. My shipping from Australia to the US was free. Have only received an estimate of when the package will arrive. Nothing as far as tracking is concerned. I do know it is being sent International Post, so probably by ship, not air.

If I remember correctly planet 3 is just a rip off of somebody else's design. I think the original was levociraptor? When I researched the consensus seemed to be it was it was better to go with a dongle over mechanical de restrictor.

You will enjoy the speed delimiter! What type of Kevlar tubes are you using?
I'm not sure what brand the shop ordered for me. I just told them the innertubes had to be bulletproof and money was no object. So I expect I'll be getting the top of the line. And knowing my fabulous mechanic, I'm sure I will.

He also has a dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies coming his way when I come to pick up my bike. My usual "tip" for anytime he fixes my bike(s) or gives me some solid helpful advice. Cookies in lieu of cash because he's not allowed to accept monetary tips.

I can't wait to install the delimiter!! So stoked!
