Hi everyone from Cardiff Wales!
It’s the second Cube Reaction I’ve owned, within a year.
I picked up the first one about a year and a half ago.
After riding about 600 miles, it developed a very annoying clicking/ticking sound on each wheel rotation coming from the rear wheel regardless of power being applied through the pedals .My fellow riders and myself got so annoyed by it, they wouldn’t ride behind me.
It drove me around the bend!
The ticking sounded like a spoke pinging.
I took the bike back to Evans a few times but they, after tightening the spokes and checking the bearings were baffled and gave me a new bike as it was so new.
This brings me to where I am today.
The present bike has covered just over 1000 miles.
The pinging sound has returned!
Im also having issues now with the RockShox Judy forks that are fitted to this bike, they have been removed and sent back to RockShox 3 times by Evans cycles ,because they can’t seem to hold air in them for very long,this is after riding the bike on mainly smooth surfaces, covering 30 miles or less, is this normal?
My friends own the Cube Reaction 500, they’ve covered some 2500 trouble free miles, am I the only person to have problems with this particular model?
