Conversion kit for Budnitz?

Hey there. My boss has a fairly "old" Budnitz cycle (99% it's this one, or one very similar: https://www.cyclemonkey.com/blog/budnitz-no3-titanium-city-bike-rohloff-speedhub-and-belt-drive) and he wants me to convert it to an ebike for him. I found some kits, but he said they may not work because of the belt system on this bike, vs. the normal chain. Does anyone know anything about this, or if there are any kits that would be compatible with a belt system? Grateful for any feedback!

So, I reached out to Bafang (US group) and they said this:
"Unfortunately, the BBBSHD and BBS02 motors are made to work with chain drives, not belt drives. Unfortunately, We are not able to provide support to make customizations in order to try and install the motor on a belt drive."

Feeling a bit back to the drawing board. Anyone else out there have experience with converting a belt drive bike? Much appreciated.
