Choosing between a 2014 Turbo S or 2016 Turbo FLR

Hi,

I like to buy a Specialized Turbo bike, but I can't choose between a used second hand Turbo S 250W from 2014, with a 504kwh battery (seller claims he did around 3000km with the battery) or a brand new Turbo FLR 200W (similar to a base turbo in US) with also a 504kwh battery.
The price is about the same.
The top speed difference of 3km/h doesn't matter for me.
The Turbo S warranty has expired.

Turbo S is 45km/h top speed. FLR is around 33km/h top speed (if not firmware upgrade) it is different. I have Turbo S 2016 I use 2015 FLR battery at the moment my stock battery is waiting for warrenty replacement. I would pick a used Turbo S any day.

[QUOTE="FLR is around 33km/h top speed (if not firmware upgrade)[/QUOTE]. I own a turbo FLR 2016 and unlock the speed which was originally set at 28km/h, now it pushes up to 45km/h without any problem. If you are a heavy rider it may compensate having a more powerful engine, but I would definitely choose the FLR due to the fact of the warranty which will cover everyhting. I have the 391Wh battery and SBC-01 engine (200W), and I am 90 kilo heavy and I have done more than 4000 km without issues (except the spokes and LCD screen that got solved by replacing the parts by the dealer). If your battery of the S dies, be ready to spend 500-1000 dollars extra. Pray that other problems won't show up (engine? spokes? lcd screen?).
