Charging E Bike

I have an E Bike which needs to be plugged directly into the mains to charge (you can't take the battery out).

I've moved flats and unfortunately I'm unable to get it near a power source so I'm looking at options for a charger that I can charge at home and then use to charge the bike.

This is the bike.

Does anyone have any suggestions, I would be SUPER grateful.

Something like a portable battery pack? You'd likely need one that can put out 230 volts that your UK bicycle charger expects. 314 watt hours however isn't a huge battery, fortunately in this case.
This Jackery Explorer 500 would work..but it'll cost a lot.

Have you thought about a long extension cord, like 50 ft?

If you have a car, you could use an inverter such as this one:

I use one to charge my bike battery while driving to the place I plan to ride.

You would have to check to see if the output is sufficient to power your charger. You also have to be careful you don't completely drain your car battery.

Welcome to the forum, and keep us posted on your solution.

I agree, unless you can get near an outlet a battery pack is the only thing I can think of. A cheap alternative is just a car battery and an inverter like someone posted above.

Bike has a 36V10.4AH battery. Probably needs about 8Ah to recharge from empty. compute to about 300 watt hours. (Multiply AH times battery voltage)

Car batteries are about 600 WH. The 300WH to charge the bike is over half the capacity of a typical car battery. Probably not good for the car battery life. If you were doing this from a parked car, engine not running, good chance of running the battery too low overnight. Car might not start.

The portable power units sound best, but you'll need a good one with a lot of WH. If your rides are short, then you won't need more than 100-150 WH, Balance the portabke units WH with how often you will recharge, but it's best to get the biggest you can afford. Then both it and your ebike are targets for thieves, Good luck.
