Not exactly what you're asking, but I initially configured the wheel for the medium number of teeth on my bike and 100% assist, and later swapped gears (on the bike only) to use the larger number of teeth and dropped the assist in the app to 70%; the first change was to allow me to pedal to go faster (above the wheel's speed), and the second to avoid not having to pedal at all e.g. in flat ground, since that turns off the sensor -- I'd have to keep moving my feet constantly, but not exerting any force, which was awkward and hard to sync with the wheel's speed. But I don't think any of this makes the wheel itself go at a faster speed.
