Regarding a Gazelle Ultimate T10 at 15,000 miles;
Chains get replaced at .5% wear.
Currently on its 7th chain.
All (so far) have been a KMC e10 (non EPT) cut to 118 links wiped and lubed (ProLink) every 100 miles.
I have sourced these from Great Britain (5ea) and the U.S. directly from its distributor (2ea).
The U.S. sourced wear much faster (lowest 1,700 mi) than the European (at max 3,000 mi), all under identical usage circumstances.
I recently bought a Connex Wipperman 10se which will be my next installation (probably in 3 to 4 months).
I've been a KMC man till now.
I'm thinkin that's gonna change.
