Ceramic Coating

It only made sense since I ceramic coat my cars I ceramic coat my new bike before I get any chips or scratches on the paint. I've done cars for the last 5 years, this was first time I've done a bike. And I can tell you its a lot easier and faster. The result looks fantastic. I've been using CQuartz for a while. I've found on my cars the coating will last 2-3 years, hopefully a lot longer on my bike.
Its a pretty simple process, like a lot of things its all in the prep. Wash, wipe down with alcohol and apply the product. I wasn't crazy about the matte finish on my bike, the coating fixed that and now its a nice semi gloss

This is what I use

$80 for 50 ml? Would 50 ml even cover a bike frame?
I used turtle wax the day the bike came out of the box.

Yes, believe it or not 50ml will do 2 cars, you only use a 5-6 drops at a time. Your putting on a very thin coating. I normally do two coats, with the bike I did three coats one day apart. Its amazing how the water beads, and how much easier it is to clean. Not that we wash our bikes like we wash or cars, just something to think about.

Here is a good video on how to apply it.
