CCX Cracked Front Fender

I have a CCX Juiced ebike with cracked plastic by the top fender mount. I ordered a new front fender which I received and installed. After about two months of riding I noticed that this new fender is also starting to show plastic cracks by the top mounting bracket (bracket is mounted using the same bolt that holds the headlight in place). My friend that I ride with (he also has a Juiced CCX with plastic fenders) has the same problem. I'm 70 years old and treat the bike gentle. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to remedy this problem? Are there any shops that sell a metal fender that might solve the problem? Thanks in advance...

I have 2 RCS and have replaced the fenders on both bikes. The fender has a black coating on it. It can crack. If you travel with a bike rack it can be subject to whatever speeds you drive at. I see my fenders shake in the air flow as I drive. Other than that I trail ride my RCS bikes and have no fender issues. Share a picture of the cracked fender if you can so we can all see exactly what you are experiencing.

Sorry to bust in on a CCX question, but I also had a fender issue on my RCS. I think the vibration from airflow while carrying on my bike rack is what caused it. I could see the fender vibrating a lot at 60 mph. It was the fender mount that failed as you can see in picture #1. I used a dogie bag to tie the fender up for the ride we did. I contacted Juiced bikes and they said I would need a new fender as the bracket was not available by itself. They gave me $10 off the normal price. With shipping it was going to be $48. I looked around and on my workbench was a clip for one of my garage door remotes. It looked to be the same size metal. I bent it to shape and drilled holes in the fender. I installed it with 3 pop rivets. Works perfect... In the future I plan on putting something between the tire and fender and securing with a bungie...
