carrier for step through frame

I'm looking for a 1.25" hitch mount carrier for my La Free E+2, which is a step-through frame. Ideally, it could carry 2 bikes, one step-through, and one regular acoustic bike. I've seen a lot of carriers, and searched the forums here, but found nothing for this type of frame; am I missing something?

Also, has anyone used one of those adaptors that fasten between the frame and seat post? I'm kind of leery about doing that.

My Thule frame handles a step through. This is the newer model but the same function. The "hooks" slide down and hold our stepthrough. If I remember correctly it hooks behind the seat on ST frames. 1 1/4" is available for most hitch style carriers.
