I'm going to have to retract my statement. The shop I work at just picked this line up 2 weeks ago, and has sold a half dozen so far. They look very well made. Time will tell, of course.

Have you tried to book a video call? Short of bringing it to a dealer, that's the next best thing.

See... now isn't that a tad better than "I'm not puttin' my butt on it."?... and ten fold better than "A carbon e-bike for as little as two grands cannot work." type of post. Especially when someone comes looking for help from those supposedly more knowledgeable?
I've always approached forums as a place to exchange information and help each other.
I have no use for the never ending "look at me, what I have and how great I do things" type on here that troll for opportunities to demonstrate their perceived superiority. Especially when imo they live in a very small and ignorant bubble.
But hey, I'm not the EBR police... I'm just a ball_bustiń a$$ of a different sort
