Camp Scrambler problems

Hello- I am new here. I bought a Juiced Camp Scrambler a little over a year ago, mostly for my grandson to ride. It is just out of warranty.

It had been sitting unused for several weeks. When I tried to take it out last weekend, the throttle would not turn the motor, and, the rear wheel would not spin backwards. It goes forward OK. Fuses and cable connections are OK, as far as I can tell. No error message on the LCD which is functioning normally. Battery is fully charged. Boot and reboot didn't help. So, it won't power up and I can't wheel it in reverse. I am suspecting both things are related, but don't have a clue.

Unfortunately, Juiced technical support has been slow. They did reply with links to their Frequently Asked Questions page, but didn't address the failure of the rear wheel to spin in reverse. I am still waiting for another reply.

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am 67, and when I was a kid we didn't have fancy electric bikes.....; )

First your bike has a freewheel rear sprocket the pedals should turn backwards unless its locked up. If it is remove it and try soaking it in gasoline (not water) in a safe container outside for a few hours then work it and it should be good after that. Here is a example video but this guy was having the opposite problem on the same part. https://youtu.be/xpV1kjzbSN0

Come to the dark side and visit Modded Juicedbikes a Facebook group we cover all the thing you would ever want to do to your Scrambler.
You will have to request to join but that's only to agree to typical rules. Also the groups moderator, Rick Rowen makes custom cables and batteries for Juiced bikes.
See you there!
I have made a few good posts here on related topics too and I own a modded City Scrambler.
