They sure know how to design aesthetically elegant bikes. Example,BULLS Iconic EVO TR2.

Their full 2019 lineup along with non-E-bike models can be seen in this video.
Their integration of Bosch, Brose and Shimano motors is outstanding. Lots of powertube designs but not all of them will make it to the US market.

Yes, they are beautiful. However, the 2018 AM 3s and 4''s that came stateside had a front end problem that Bulls USA supposedly acknowledged, but won't or cant remedy. That's not great customer service on a warrantied product. What good is beauty if it doesn't function correctly right out of the freaking box.

What was the problem and what do you think is the solution?

The actual problem is a loud, metallic noise from something rubbing at the front end of the bike. It is worse when cornering, but it does occur even when riding without turning the bars. One suspicion is it is coming from the brake pads/rotor. The rotor and rotor bolts were replaced yet the noise continued. Also, the brake calipers were adjusted yet the noise continued. Bulls USA was kind enough to try to adjust the front end and yet the noise continued.

I was told that BullsUSA had said the cause was known; my and other ebikes were rushed to the US market before they were totally ready. I do not know, however, exactly what "not ready " meant spec- wise.

I was also told Bulls USA offered to remedy the problem by switching out the front rim. However, they returned my bike with the same rims and just a little less noise. I do appreciate their effort, but I got the feeling that the resolution must come from corporate.

Look, I do not expect perfection, even for a $5,200 bicycle. Often, you just have to 'take your lumps' with a defective product. However, I saw that every single bike in that shop had exactly the same problem. Yikes.

Bulls ebikes can be awesome. But where is the customer support? The bike (and others) is brand new and came out of the box like this!!

I got the impression that Bulls USA sincerely tried to help, but their motivation or their ability to resolve this at higher levels is limited.

I will check with them. Is it just for Brose powered bikes or Bosch powered or both?

Good news bad news. Let’s start with the bad news. Four weeks ago I bought three of the brand new Bulls EBikes. Two Estream evo am3’ s and one am 4. All three bikes had the same metallic scraping noise that you’re referring to.
Ok, here is the good news. It is a very very easy fix. Apparently when they assemble these bikes they used too much Loctite when attaching the front rotor. So much so that It got between the router and the hub causing almost a warping type affect. I simply remove the rotor and used a little rubbing alcohol to clean up the Bolts, rotor and surface of the hub. Reassembled and now it turns perfectly with no sign of any warp or rubbing. The fix took less than 10 minutes to do.
I absolutely love these bikes. In the last four weeks I’ve put almost 600 miles on mine.

Thanks for responding. That's interesting. I wish that worked for me too. However, dealer actually replaced the rotor and the bolts in the hope of killing the noise. No luck. Then, the dealer told me Bulls supposedly informed him there was a bigger, known issue that would result in a new rim. It didn't happen. No clear explanation was given.

.... Agreed, it's otherwise a lovely bike.
