I posted this question in another thread, but it may be more appropriate here. I have a Cannondale Synapse Neo 1 e-bike with an Active Line Plus motor and Purion display. I have heard that there is a software update that increases torque and/or power. I am happy with the current motor/Purion controller settings. Does the torque increase mean that it will use more battery in any given assist setting? If so, it seems as if the range will decrease even if the ECO setting is used for the whole ride. Is this true?
