Bosch performance lifespan

Hello all!
I just bought a used 2015 Townie 8i with the Bosch performance motor and 400 battery pack.
the bike has 4800 miles on it, but I got it for a great price ( at least I think it was )
The seller ( off Craigslist) claims the battery is new …
How much life can I expect to get out of the motor?
is there a way to tell if the battery is new?

Hello,

A dealer with the Bosch Diagnostic software has access to battery data such as:

- number of complete charge cycles on the battery
- Amp-hours delivered over the lifetime of the battery
- lifetime max. and min. battery temperatures (may indicate storage or usage practices)
- any error codes currently present on battery
