Bike racks and rain

Does anyone have any long term experience with putting an e-bike on a bus bike-rack for commuting?

I live in Oregon, where rain is frequent in the winter, and own a Gazelle Arroyo. I often put the bike on a bus bike rack as part of my commute. I know you aren't supposed to pressure wash the bike as that could allow water ingress into the motor and other electronics. I wonder if putting my bike on a bike rack on a bus that goes up to 50mph is taking the same risk?

I’d take small precautions. Treat connections with ACF 50. I use black RTV to push into ant seams of my battery and motor. If a mid drive this can help. If a direct drive, Statoraide.

Pay attention to the battery electrical connection to the base. If not treated it’s a spot that can corrode.

I did not look up your bike but these are things my customers and I have done to protect us when riding in unusually wet conditions.
