Bike frame adapter bar for bike rack

I have a step through electric bike and need an adapter bar to put on my bike for the car bike rack. I am wondering which bar would hold the 57 pound bike. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I bought a Saris bar to use on my work stand for my bike (Magnum Ui6 lowstep). It will definitely hold the weight of my bike but....I would be very nervous about hanging it from a rear bike rack on a vehicle. These bike are heavy as you know. Good Luck?

Aileen, I'm guessing that you already have your rack? Because I have to agree with Don DiConstanzo, co-founder of Pedego bikes: a carrier like the Thule T2 Pro XT puts the weight of the bike on the tires, which provides some suspension for the greater weight of an ebike. I don't have a step-through, but I wouldn't want to hang it from a rack. I guess we all make the accommodations we have to make for our own situation, risk tolerance, etc.
