Here is a sneak peek into the 2019 lineup.

They are moving with Shimano E-8000 motor setup for their mountain bikes.

The engineer who designed the trekking CROSS Pro model should get a raise. Here is why.

The bike has massive 720Whr battery with the highest density 21700 format - 5Ah cells (expect 60 mile range with pedaling)
E-bike specific Selle Royal eZone saddle.
Excellent Shimano E-8000 motor with XT drive train and SLX brakes.
Schwalbe G-one tubeless ready 27.5 x 2.35" tires for all terrain riding.

I looked at a few sites that had pics. Love the bikes, drives and the classy new colors/graphics. And not an "Easy Motion" in sight! At least none I could find. Looking forward to reports from Interbike.

It looks like they tried to move even more weight rearward with that frame design. I don't understand what they are trying to do there.

Wouldn't call that an emtb. More like an urban/trail bike. Still, that new 720wh battery and overall design is very nice.

Their 2018 Atom X Lynx 5/6 Pro models have same battery and similar geometry with 5" and 6" suspension and are using Brose S motor. Curious if they move to Shimano Steps for 2019.

They are dropping the words "Easy Motion"... rhymes with loose motion :D
Even the US office will adapt similar nomenclature moving forward i.e., BH. I think it provides more street cred by branding like that.

I find it interesting that James McLean has worked with BH on the development of their eBikes. He was the designer of the original StumpJumper.

It reduces the effect of sprung weight on bicycle front fork suspensions. Manufactures got away from the rear batteries, but put too much weight forward on front suspensions that were designed for bicycles. The affect is worsened with ever increased battery capacities. BH had this same design last year and Haibike is doing the same on some bikes for 2019. I suspect others are as well. Anything that gets the weight over the bottom bracket is a good thing.

One of the only manufacturers who offers bikes with Shimano drive system (E-8000 and E-7000), Bosch (CX), Yamaha (PW-SE, PWX), Brose (S and T) and EVO hub drives.

Hundreds of models and their description in this 132 page booklet.
I felt privileged when I was told of some of the great bikes and news from BH for MY 2019. I teased a bit in another thread, but glad to see the official news.

Ravi, I know BH has a sentimental place in your heart, given your long experience with a '14 DS MTB. I look forward to hearing any first hand reports from Interbike.

When will the 2019 BH USA eBikes be released ?
Is there a new website ?
Will there be a new forum here to discuss the new BH eBikes ?

There is a BH USA and Easy Motion USA today. I suspect both will be portals to to all BH products at some point between now and 2019. The Easy Motion website won't disappear for some time. That wouldn't help consumers.

Don't expect to see real change in the US until and after Interbike in September. I was told 2019 models will be available in January, some models will take a little longer. Since many bikes will be brand new in the lineup and all the branding will change for 2019 models, it won't all happen overnight. There will also be leftover 2018 Easy Motion bikes to clear out, so the process will be well into 2019.

As for the forum, @Court will have to decide the name. Maybe "BH & Easy Motion"? Since it's the same company both will have to be included for search results. He'll make it right, I'm sure.

I always think of this image, that I first saw in the 70's, when someone says 'patience'.

By March 2019 there should be a good stock of 2019 bikes. It was March 2015 when I was finally able to get my 2015 Easy Motion Street and that had been announced the previous September at Interbike. More time to save up $$$$!
