I test drove a Gazelle C380+ at my local bike shop. It was smooth, stable, and quiet; but it just seemed lacking in something, I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. So, when I got back to the shop, I asked to test drive their new Turbo Vado 4, with front suspension, for comparison, but they only had one in stock, and it was already sold. Instead, they had a Ultimate T10+ assembled, I took it for a test drive. What a difference! It seemed quicker, and more nimble; more fun in a way that is just hard to describe. Then, it hit me. Years ago, I drove a Honda Silverwing 600 mL motor scooter, after a few years, I upgraded to a Honda NCX 700 with dual clutch transmission; The difference in power delivery between a centrifical clutch, and gear to gear dual-clutch is completely different. The dual clutch, just like the derailleur, gives you power immediately, whereas the centrifugal clutch and the Envolio ramps up gradually - making for a more sedate peddling experience.
both bikes are excellent in build quality and their ride, but I took the Ultimate T10+ home with me.
