Does anyone have info regarding the possibility of this Drive Train in the future for Gazelle Bikes ?
Thanks...

Gazelle does offer belt drive versions of the Orange and Ultimate models in Europe, but they have not yet been brought to the US, contact Gazelle’s reps in California, if enough folk ask maybe they’ll do it?

Thanks. I think to compete against the R/M Charger 3, they should update their options.

More information from Electrek... https://electrek.co/2020/10/21/gazelle-announces-new-electric-bicycles-ultimate-c380-belt-drive/

Does it really come with the Purion display? I would think a Gazelle of this class should have a Nyon or at least a Kiox. I hope Gazelle at least offers an option for a display upgrade.

Yeah - it does - I ended up buying the Nyon retro kit through my dealer and had them install it - unfortunately don't think you can order one that way from the git-go here in the US which is too bad.

I test drove a Gazelle C380+ at my local bike shop. It was smooth, stable, and quiet; but it just seemed lacking in something, I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. So, when I got back to the shop, I asked to test drive their new Turbo Vado 4, with front suspension, for comparison, but they only had one in stock, and it was already sold. Instead, they had a Ultimate T10+ assembled, I took it for a test drive. What a difference! It seemed quicker, and more nimble; more fun in a way that is just hard to describe. Then, it hit me. Years ago, I drove a Honda Silverwing 600 mL motor scooter, after a few years, I upgraded to a Honda NCX 700 with dual clutch transmission; The difference in power delivery between a centrifical clutch, and gear to gear dual-clutch is completely different. The dual clutch, just like the derailleur, gives you power immediately, whereas the centrifugal clutch and the Envolio ramps up gradually - making for a more sedate peddling experience.
both bikes are excellent in build quality and their ride, but I took the Ultimate T10+ home with me.
