Dang, phase wires should be bigger than hall wires,"calulatist eliminatus" should take care of the rest, the phase wires should be color coded a little noise is natural,if you are feeling lucky pop the motor apart and regrease the gears if geared.

Noise coming from the controller. Is it vibrating when riding? If so, perhaps there is a screw loose. Or do you still have that noise when the tire is lifted and motor is engaged?

Still have when raised, think there is a cable breaking down in controller or harness noice gone for few days then come back

Ah, you're the bike mechanic who just had an ebike brought into the shop. Wau is an English brand that appears to have run out of funding/support. Which model is it? Not the 60 mph model;? Pictures would help.

First off, can you ride it with power? What did the owner do to it? Did the guy rewire it?

.
Cannot belive wiring is original but he says yes,its uk version 250 watts ,i think it a wire breaking down in main harness or controller cheers
