Battery upgrade

Has anyone upgraded there battery for distance riding? if so is it worth it? And what kind of battery is the best upgrade,, i have a moscow plus.

All links are to China sellers without provenance. There are a couple of battery builders, in China, that sold posters here and were "safe" purchases. Perhaps someone remembers those sources.

DHGate is hit and miss for me. Mostly miss. Try to get it from a supplier that has a website and a physical address. Not just a virtual existence on a retail platform such a AliExpress. Although AliExpress is a good option. Search for the R009-80 battery dorado 52V. Look for the best cells inside the battery housing and not generic. Having local support would be nice with Google Maps reviews. These reviewers are required to be actual humans with Google Accounts. I saw an online only eBike seller's site recently that had 60 five-star reviews and no reviews under five-stars. This, when you cannot get 60 Texans to agree on BBQ sauce, is unlikely.

I have used this company on more than one occasion and gotten prompt service. My last order in January was for two batteries state side and I got delivery in 4 days. Some bike builders buy from them. Off topic: I saw a bike yesterday at a Montreal shop that was $1,229. I purchased two of these same bikes in 2019 for $365 each, one of which was shipped to Boston for free. The Montreal shop is taking pre-orders on these bikes for July.
You are correct about the housing regarding UPP.
