Battery sticks

The battery sticks in my wife's City Commuter. I can get it out if I lift up a little when first starting to pull. It still takes more effort than my wife can manage. Anybody else had this?

I have seen it, but I don't know yet what is causing it. I'm wondering if it has to do with the electrical connection. I'm guessing that it plugs in quite tight. A lot of them seem fine after they move out about 3/4" . I'm sure they don't want it to bounce around making noise. Might also be a taper at the back just before it locks in.

Our dealer said he'd look at it when we take it in for a 200 mile tune-up. If it's still sticking, he'll replace it at no cost to us.

And he did replace it. The battery casings itself was malformed, causing it to stick upon removal.

The batteries in both my Platinum Interceptors stick somewhat but not as severely as yours. A little silicone spray helped quite a bit for me.

Anyway, I'm glad you got your problem sorted out.
