I have a 48 volt 10 amp hour lithium down tube battery pack. I took it apart to change the connector to the controller i thought I could bypass the other wires but the battery is not working and I wasn't paying attention when taking it apart to where the other wires went to the red and black and black and white thin wires any help would be greatly appreciated or advice on way of getting my battery up and running thank you

Well the 1st post I got a reply saying
" nobody pays attention here". So I thought if I post in a different section I would get some help with no luck.....

I had my Dorado battery apart last April and took a few pictures.
I don't know if they are any use to you or not?

Your BMS is different than mine so the wiring and colors are probably different.

Hello,
Please don't take my comments as an attack or personal. That is absolutely not my intent !

Because of the significant potential lethal fire danger of rewiring the Down Tube Battery I would
find a local professional, skilled with the particulars of your bike/battery/motor and charger.
Again, I'm not being critical, but the photos show a real wiring 'mess' . This is not a science project.
This is not amateur night.

Is there a brand name on the battery and charger ? If they are 'no-name' that should be a huge
red flag ! Be careful.

Good Luck,
John

^^^ What he said.

It looks like the battery was opened with a hammer and pliers too?

I opened up my battery, fixed it, and put it back together the way that I found it.
I did my research and took electronics in school.

Your battery is a potential bomb.

Is there a brand name on the battery and charger ?

Both our batteries are Reention Dorado batteries, but that only describes the case and battery brackets.
denfox's battery is a 48 volt 10 amp hour battery.
My battery is a 48 volt 25 amp hour battery, with a very different BMS.

Be careful. s*it happens.

Hello,
Thank you 'PCeBiker' for posting the Youtube video of the Scooter / bike exploding and burning. I hope 'Denfox'
the original poster sees it....Note to 'Denfox' Lithium Ion Batteries fires / explosions cannot be put out.
What is the defective battery used in ?
