Hello. I am wondering whether anyone else is seeing this problem. The last charge on my 2019 Homage showed an oddity. The batteries were down to low 30s% when I plugged in the charger. Charging quit well before the batteries were full. The Kiox showed 63% for several hours before I unplugged the charger. I counted to ten then plugged the charger back in. Charging continued until it stopped again at 93% after fourteen hours. I unplugged the charger and looked at the charge for each individual battery. The Kiox showed 97% for Bat1 and 89% for Bat2. It occurs to me that I have never had a full charge show 100%. It always has shown 97%. I never bothered to check the individual batteries on the Kiox so it is possible that this problem has existed since I have had the eBike.
I went over to my LBS--who is a new R&M dealer--earlier today to talk to the tech about this. The shop recently received a few R&M eBikes. One of them is a Supercharger (I think) with a Kiox and dual powertube batteries. They are seeing the same charging problem but only on this Supercharger. Their other eBikes use the Intuvia and don't have the problem. The tech is thinking that there could be an issue with the combination of Kiox and two batteries. His next step is to contact Germany to try and resolve this. In the mean time, he removed the batteries and charged them one at a time. Each one charged to 100%. I have not done this yet because I want to wait to hear back from my LBS.
Is there anyone with an eBike with a Kiox and two batteries? I am interested to know, after a full charge (on the eBike), whether each battery shows 100%.
