Battery doesn't fit

Has anyone had an issue with the battery not lining up properly? I'm not sure if it is the seat or the battery itself but when it is fully seated in the bottom it is not centered at the top. I just shot Juicedbikes an email and am hoping it is an easy fix or that I'm just completely missing something obvious.

Did you use the key when sliding the upper end in? Mine was a little stiff the first couple of times, using the key worked fine. After that, it slides in and locks in place without difficulty or strain.

Yeah, I had already tried a bunch with key but I just tried with the full weight of my body it snapped on and scraped away a bunch of plastic (On the bottom part of that "U"). I noticed that the guide video on youtube has a couple comments where some people sanded it down. I might do that to make it a little easier.

I put two hands around the top of the battery and down tube and give it a firm push on the battery side towards the top and while pulling with my fingers on the frame.

I was surprised how much force it took at first....nut it popped in.
