Battery Bars vs Handle Bar Display Bars

Noticed at the end of yesterdays ride that when I pushed the power button directly on the battery it showed 2 bars remaining but the display on the handle bar still showed 3. Anyone else noticed anything like that?

The bars are merely suggestions. When you have a gage with 20% increments, a little variation should be expected
