Batteries and charger

I own Orbea with Bosch motor. Today I bought a Giant with Yamaha motor for the wife. Both has similar battery 500wh and same voltage. The Bosch can only charge 2A on 110V. The Yamaha can charge 6A on 110v. Took the Bosh 8 hours to get full charge while only take 2.5 hours to do the Yamaha. That’s a game changer. I can ride twice a day with break while waiting for the charge. While with Bosch I have to have 2 batteries. Is there anyway for those electric know how guys to figure out how I can use the Yamaha charger to charge the Bosch battery?

Bosch does sell rapid charger 6A but only on 220V.

Thanks for the idea. I’m not sure about the firmware. However, Bosch offers 3 different charger.
1. Compact charger 2A-110v, which what we have here in USA.
2. Standard charger 4A-220v
3. Rapid charger 6A-220v.

given the charger availability from Bosch, I would think the battery is capable of higher charge rate. I just don’t understand why Bosch doesn’t offer 6A in 110v like Yamaha did.

Do you think I might damage the battery if I use what you suggested? Aftermarket charger with the Bosch adapter?
