what are you trying to do, for a motor you will need a compatible battery, controller, some way to interact with the controller via a handlebar switch and a display. do you want two displays for two motors? what about batteries? do you want both motors working together?
it’s not as basic as simply swapping the motor.
maybe watch all the youtube vids of people who have changed the motor, controller, etc or adding more batteries, etc to gauge if this is work you feel comfortable handling yourself….

The only sane way to build a super eBike (2-3k watts) is from the ground up with complete rear hub bolt on kit complete with EVERYTHING needed bolted onto any "good" bike of your choice. (A 7-Speed Mongoose Ardor or Ledge for example as per KevCentral would make an incredible super eBike. A used TREK Marlin another good choice). The cost would be about $1000 or less for the whole thing. Makes more sense than to buy a new 500 watt, $1000 eBike... then put tear it down and buy several hundred dollars worth of new parts to bolt back on it and hope it works (not to mention it would VOID all warranties).

Front Motors are great!
I added 1000 watts up front. I just use two throttles, for now anyway.
There's pics on here under "Accessories for your XP" or whatever its called.
But mines a 1.0, that means steel front forks, with added torque bars.
Not recommended for suspension forks. It can be catastrophic for any aluminum forks.
That being said, It's beyond awesome.. I'm a big dude and the torque is amazing.
Its all plug and play, you don't touch the stock electronics at all, its all separate.
Check YouTube for "Urban Grizzly's, Monster hill climber" build for the XP.
In my opinion its the ABSOLUTE BEST upgrade you can do.
I added a 20ah Battery on my rack, along with the other controller in the rack bag above it.
And now I've added the motorcycle tires everyone's talking about!
