i seem to be having problems with the battery ....the bike is barely a year old and if I hit a bump evrything on the monitor
goes blank ....and nothing in the power assist works ....i took the battery out and put back in then works for a bit and cuts out
again ......HELP!

If you would check the aventon brand forum "known problems & solutions" thread, it has 144 posts. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/forum/aventon/ This is despite aventon having dealers that should be the first call for problems. That is above average IMHO.
I bought 2 batteries that would collapse the voltage when I drew more than 50 watts. One from Amazon, one from ebay. Bad welds are a common problem in the low end of the market. The next battery cost 2.1x as much and is working 4 years & 8000 miles later.
You might check the aventon forum to see if somebody has found an economical repair or replacement.
