Aventon E-bike Right Rear Brake iLight

Hello, I purchased an Aventon Level 2 Step Through Large e-bike a few weeks ago and only have about 65 miles on it. I checked the bike out when I bought it from a local dealer where I live and the brake lights were working. I noticed the other day that the right rear one does not work now. I am curious if anyone knows if that brake light is all one piece ie connected to the wire and then to the controller, or can the brake light be simply pulled from a plug where it meets the wire in the frame? I took it to my local dealer which they will fix under warranty, but I am curios. Thanks. John.

My Aventon Aventure tail/brake light fixture has a plug-in connection on it where it attaches to the bike wiring. The fixture is secured by a single hex bolt on the chainstay. Try removing it to see if it's properly connected. If it is, try swapping the left and right to see if both work. If not, or you cannot resolve the issue, open a claim with Aventon. They'll either send a new fixture if it's bad, or allow your bike shop to repair it and reimburse you.
