Australian Military, Third Military to start using E-Bikes

Stefan, come to england - i want to race you 400 miles along the pennines - bridleway not cycle way, lets put your BS to bed. fat tyre ultra vs any of your spesh bikes. Spring or autumn 2022 works for me.
@Haystacks: Sorry for the late answer (I keep you on Ignore, usually).

I don't race anyone; I ride for pleasure. Talking seriously, I don't think transporting e-bikes is possible (and anyone of us would like to ride own e-bike, right?) If we keep the matters as a theoretical discussion, we could have an adventurous road ride together in Polish Bieszczady Mts in the summer. Conditions: Each of us is allowed to take 1200 Wh on board, and re-charging is not allowed on the ride. 125 km, 1543 m elevation gain. Anyone takes responsibility for the consequences of own actions. You're in?

An REI rep at an outdoor festival saw my Radmini and we had a quick discussion. He said that the same ebike was developed for the US military. It was designed to be parachutable. My mini is a 2017 model so if it was a copy, the military was looking into it prior to that.

Australia does have the weakest army on the planet. This is embarrassing. At least get a motorcycle please.
E-bike is a toy at most and it fails all the time. There is no real commute-grade eBike on the market that can last and a military-grade eBike doesn't even exist.
