Good article on the solar-powered ebike race from Lyons to Guangzhou this summer. Jack Butler is the guy I rooted for, having discovered his YouTube channel a while back. I also follow the author's YouTube channel, so it's a neat confluence. Jack Butler showed what can be done with limited funds and a lot of ingenuity, coming in 6th out of around 50 entrants over the 12 000+ kilometers, with no major mishaps or technical malfunctions.
 
12800 km in 64 days is 200km/day. Nothing to sneeze at, especially pulling a contraption like that and probably over some atrocious roads.
