The buttons are 3 different modes light levels/ extended battery life, also 4 or 5 light types, day/night, strobe, alert, walking lights, etc. I'm going off memory, not sure all modes, check link J.R. ur opinion welcome, thanx

NR offers some serious lighting systems, lights look very nice! Most important with self contained power source bike lights is keeping in mind run time. You don't want to end up in the dark before you get home. Give us a review when you can.

All NR stuff is great. I have the My Newt 600 and it's outstanding. Battery life is in the 6 hr range. Lights up the trail very nicely.

Thank you for the reply, nice to hear u like yours. Mine NR combo ( front and back) on its way thru UPS.... Funny thing is my ebike should arrive sometime next week too from lectriccycles.com

Well my NR headlight and backlight has arrived, tomorrow (Thursday) my fat tire crawler ebike arrives from lectriccycles. NR light is amazing : very bright with mutiple settings... I enjoy the feel of the soft rubber strap, also like the ability to easily remove for theft avoidance, and love the USB charging ports on both. Yes, a bit pricey , but top quality stuff: warranty awesome. Here are so me pics:
