Any eBike Tax Write offs?

Recently bought a Raleigh Redux IE and am curious to find out if there are any eBike tax write off that people have used or know of. So are things like depreciation and anything else something i can write off on my taxes to offset the cost of my eBike once and/or over time?

Not a tax write off, but I did get mine at a LBS sales tax free. The shop gave me a letter which I took to my doctors office. The doc transferred the verbiage to her letterhead, signed it, and I emailed it to the LBS. it was basically a letter stating that an eBike would aid in my health maintenance.

When we got my wife’s cheap eBike from Performance, they were unable to do the same. I think because they are a chain store they were unaware of various states tax codes.

Anyway, saved me over $150

Many employers have flexible spending programs that allow employees reimbursement towards the purchase of a bicycle. I got $240 when I purchased mine.
