Advice on univega summit B 3.0

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an ebike that can i use for my daily commute (mon-fri) 10 kms round trip. Maybe a bit of long distances on trails on some weekends. I am certainly not a mountain biker but i do like to travel long distances 30-40 kms on trails or even urban roads whenever i get a chance. Hence , I can split my needs as 80% commute and 20% off-roading.

Now, i have tried couple of bikes at my local dealer:

- Focus jarifa2 3.9 : 2.9 version of this bike has been reviewed by court which was very helpful. I definitely liked the torque on this one, no issues climbing steep hills. However, I did not find the seating very comfortable on this one. It felt a bit bulky and maybe a bit overkill for daily commuting on urban roads (am i over thinking this ?) . Local dealer said, they can shorten the handle bar and maybe change the saddle to try and find a more comfortable position if I decided to go with this.

- KALKHOFF ENDEAVOR 1.B MOVE & FOCUS PLANET2 6.7 DI : Both of these bikes were very comfortable and gave smooth rides. Much more comfortable that Focus jarifa 3.9. Only issue with these two is that they are pretty much city bikes and not very exciting if you want to go off-roading.

That brings me to my fav Univega summit B 3.0 . I found this as comfortable as KALKHOFF ENDEAVOR 1.B MOVE & FOCUS PLANET2 6.7 DI. It can provide max torque of 75 nm and front fork can be locked if needed. It has wider 29inch Schwalbe Smart Sam, 54-622 wheels so dint feel as bulky as focus jarifa2 and not as bland as KALKHOFF & FOCUS PLANET2 city bikes. Only issue is I have not heard of this brand univega before. Also, I cannot also find any sort of reviews or comments for similar univega ebikes so any advice you can give here will be very much appreciated.

I used to have a Univega acoustic road bike (ages ago). It's a reputable brand, though I don't know anything about their ebikes. They were bought by the parent company of Raleigh and Nishiki, so it's a fairly big company these days. Looks like that one uses the Bosch Performance Line motor, again, super reputable.
