Adjusting Brake lever throw out

Can anyone tell me how? My front brake lever compresses much further than the back lever before it engages. Thanks

well more info would help a lot like what kind of brake they are? but I am thinking disc brakes and mechanical brakes? if so there is a knob on the disc caliper you turn it clockwise will you get the brake pads closer but not rubbing on the disc.

Almost always. Some higher end lever bodies have tool-less reach adjustment, and lower end bodies have a grub screw which does the same thing with a 2mm or 2.5mm allen key. Do a search online for your brake model adjustments, since we have no clue...

reach is where the lever is when your not using it. thats set with a small screw on the end of the lever thats mounted. but if you have to pull the lever farther thats pad wear.
