Addmoto M-360 Advice

Hello, I’m new here and new to the e-bike scene. I’m 63 and have had a broken back and neck and have bad knees ?‍♂️. I have been looking at getting an e-trike to try to get back to exercising on a regular basis. I live in a very hilly area and think that the M-360 would be perfect for what I need. The problem is that everything I read about Addmoto says that the product and warranty are crappy. I would like to know if there’s a comparable trike out there with better quality? Do I buy The Addmoto and upgrade the crappy parts or is there something better out there? PS, I weigh about 280 and need a lot of back support in the seat. Also, will be riding about 80% pavement and 20% sand. Thanks ahead for your help,Billy ??

Look through this thread that discusses addmotor some: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/trike-short-list-and-why.28157/
There is a thread of a guy that bought one, after comparing to the workman trike, but I can't find it now.
The whole trike section of bikes by type is worth reading to a future trike owner.
All warrentees are crappy if they don't include in store labor for the repairs. That leaves pedego and who else? You in Spartanburg NC; there won't be much in store support for anything there. A pedego owner I met on the street already told me how ignorant the pedego store owner in the next state is about service.

I would suggest you only buy that trike if you ride one first. That foot forward design requires more core muscles than a traditional trike design. Are you able to lift your legs out in front of your body in mid air?If you haven’t ridden for a long time, and are out of shape, you will find your hill climbing ability will be extremely limited. Have you ridden eBikes at all? The electrical part is an assist. Most will have limits on throttle only unless it has big batteries and controller. Heavy trikes and ridders can be quite limited in power with hill climbing and sand riding.
