A Uk Roadrunner ebiker

Hi from the UK Derbyshire Peak District. Been using ebikes for 20 years, recently bought myself & better half a couple of Radrunners, thanks to EBR.
The idea is to make cycle paths & bridleways easier to use.
Has been a lot of rain for the last couple of weeks, I can confirm the mudguards (fenders) work very well.
Have changed the seats and handlebar stems, now very comfortable, a delight to ride.
Range over levelish road and tracks probably 45 to 55 miles.
Bikes run well & nicely made.

Welcome, the Peak District is hilly, how are you getting on with the single speed gearing, too low/high/just right?

I have been a fan of single speed ebikes for a while now. I converted my 20inch folder (kudos Secret) to single speed a while ago. 20inch wheels really do climb hills much better than larger sizes. The Roadrunner's 20inch wheels was a real plus for me. With fatish tyres they are 22inch wheels.
The Rad motor is 250w, and has very good torque. I can climb most hills seated, just occasionally standing on the pedals for very serious hills. The new slightly longer & lower stem is a big help. (80mm long, 7degees angled down) The gearing is about 68 inches and probably spot-on. If anything maybe marginally under geared on the road, but I don't think I will be changing it. Spot-on for my use.
It's great fun.
